A Real Lightbulb Moment

The 6th grade was treated with an exciting visit from Thomas Edison himself (well, from actor, Patrick Garner). Through fantastic wit and humor as well as visuals and manipulatives, students learned about Mr. Edison's various inventions and his life's story and accomplishments. Besides for being an exceptional learning opportunity (even the 7th graders greeted him with lines they remembered from last year), it was delightfully entertaining!
