A Night to Remember, Always Remember

After detailed, devoted time and effort in preparing their elaborate projects, the students of 8B hosted the annual Holocaust Memorial Night. Each group researched and crafted powerful displays of various elements of the Shoah. Guests were guided on a tour through time with creative and interactive components that depicted the ghettos, the uprising, and the indescribable resilience and faith of the six million Kedoshim as well as survivors. Additionally, each student presented personal reflection, whether an essay, story, or poem, of their feelings through the process or a family member.

The evening was powerful demonstration of the students' hard work and deep connection to the darkest time in our history.

A special thank you t their passionate and talented Social Studies teacher, Mrs. Zahava Ribowsky, and Mrs. Faye Kohn, Director of Academics and Instruction, for their tireless efforts guiding the students in this monumental program.
