8B-Led Yom Ha'Atzmaut Carnival

Students from 1st through 7th grade had their dedicated time at the carnival, and the sheer excitement our boys generated for several hundred of their younger peers was nothing short of phenomenal. With incredible care and patience, they helped, encouraged, and cheered on students in a host of activities, all designed, developed, and supervised by our boys. As each grade applauded 8B at the end of each group, the visiting Rebbeim and teachers all streamed by to express their appreciation and admiration for them as they marvelled at their leadership.

Before starting Mincha this afternoon, the boys were given the recognition they richly earned. They heard about their leadership and role modeling and they heard about the pride we all have in them. As their faces beamed with well-deserved self-pride, we continued with another heartfelt Mincha, which is the daily standard. As the day came to a close, boys throughout the MSB shared words of thanks as they walked off for dismissal following yet another meaningful day.
