We’re All About YOUnity

This morning we witnessed a truly remarkable and memorable event. Last year, we began a new tradition that continued today when the ECD and the MSB joined together for a program built on chesed, teamwork, leadership and exceptional role modeling. The young students of the ECD arrived at the gym at 9am to be greeted by their older peers, with each class paired with an older one. The tables were set with paper and crayons to design Purim Sameach cards together and cellophane bags with snacks to pack Mishloach Manos for several nursing homes.

The spirit of camaraderie, the lively music playing through the speakers and the endless stream of smiles from the students on both ends of the RYNJ spectrum was nothing less than magical. As the older students patiently and lovingly helped their ECD partners, the small, innocent smiles looked up at them with simple joy.

Thank you to the wonderful Rebbeim, Morot and staff that helped fuel the incredibly positive energy by directing the students with so much care as always. You made this event such a special one. And to our students - thank you for once again showing everyone what you’re made of. You rise to the occasion every time, and the acknowledgement you received by the ECD staff was so well deserved. You made us proud - again.
