Our 8B Yom Ha'Shoah Experience

By Yaakov Malik:

Yesterday, the eighth graders had the wonderful opportunity of touring the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York City. At the museum, we saw some amazing antiquities and old Jewish artifacts such as Menorahs and Sifrei Torah. We also got to listen to a few moving Holocaust stories from survivors. It gave us a deeper understanding of the unimaginable horrors that our ancestors experienced during that dark time period. We spent an hour and a half in the museum gathering more knowledge than ever imagined possible. The trip left an irreversible imprint on us. The trip to the Museum of Jewish Heritage was very meaningful and an unbeatable experience.
