Today's Harness Ha'Yom
Dear 7B Parents,
As we stepped onto the bus this morning in great anticipation for our trip, the boys had a flurry of questions. “How high are the rides?” “Do I have to go on the zipline?” “Are you going to jump off the trees too?” All I answered them with a smile was, “Guys, you are going to have a blast. Promise.” It is no surprise that this exceptional group of boys did just that - they enjoyed a simply marvelous and memorable trip together.
When we arrived, a few boys were concerned about climbing and heights, but how impressed the Rebbeim were when the boys encouraged one another. “Come on, you’re gonna enjoy it when you’re on it!” And how thankful the boys were that they listened. One Kiddush Hashem after another, our boys made us truly proud. They cheered for one another. They motivated one another. What a phenomenal sight it was.
The endless stream of smiles filled the gorgeous, sunny afternoon as the boys enthusiastically rotated between the host of rope courses, rock wall and zipline.. As the boys called from the treetops to their Rebbeim to watch as they jumped, their Rebbeim stood rooting them on with, “You can do it!” and, “Awesome job!” As one Rebbi remarked as he proudly watched his students attempt one particular challenge, “Look at how well they work with one another! Such wholesome boys!”
What a special time we shared today - we truly have so much to be thankful for!
Only continued nachas!
All the best,
Rabbi Avi Bernstein
