Israel Pride on Yom Ha'Atzmaut
Yom Ha'Atzmaut 5778 was a day to remember. In the morning, our 8th grade served as leaders in designing and running a special carnival for the entire Lower School. With countless exciting and engaging activities throughout the gym, the boys gave their younger peers a special and memorable experience. At the same time, 6B and 7B were involved in testing their Israeli knowledge downstairs in the Beis Medrash as they played Kahoot. Elsewhere in the other gym, all Middle School grades were put through a rigorous IDF boot camp led by Mr. Sanacore. Finally, the boys enjoyed an Israeli football tournament with Rabbi Epstein - in intensely exciting event!
And of course blue and white cookies to just add to the incredible fun and enjoyment!
Feedback from the boys? "This was the best Yom Ha'Atzmaut in RYNJ ever!" said one 8th grader.
Happy birthday, Israel!
