Time to Make the Matzah

Today, our class took a trip to the Streit's matzah factory in Orangeburg, NY. As we learn in class how to separate a portion of dough from the batch, we had the opportunity to see how they really do it in the factory. In the factory, there were pallets of flour, matzah meal, and all sorts of matzah products. During the tour, we got to see the matzah’s process of 18 minutes. Finally, at the end of the tour, we got our very own fresh box of matzah as a souvenir to take home. I really enjoyed learned about something and then actually being able to see it in real life.
