8B and the FCC
By Binyamin Rubin:
When we entered the classroom, I asked Mrs. Solomon about Net neutrality and if I could give a presentation to the class. Mrs. Solomon was moved by my passion on the subject, and immediately called our NJ senator's office to find out what, if anything, could be done. Some classmates were moved by this, and started to send a email to Ajit Pai, the leader of the FCC. Students voiced how upset they were that internet access that was meant to be free, such as education, art, music, etc., now would cost money. The class began writing letters in the hope that Ajit Pai will listen.
