In culmination of their unit on הלכות ד' מינים, the boys in 8B-Y were able to put their knowledge to the test. Rabbi Barrish challenged the boys to identify the signs of a kosher הדס as well as calculate the correct measurements. Using a centimeter ruler, we were able to clearly measure the הדסים and calculate the necessary 3 טפחים! In addition the boys applied their knowledge in identifying where the תיומת of a לולב is as well as recognize the כשרות of the לולב. What a great way to visualize and apply all that we have learned!
