Leadership: The Bookroom Team

We would like to tell you about the great work that gets done in the bookroom. We have had so many helpers over the past two years starting at the beginning of last year and hopefully going to the end of this year and if we can the year after that. In the bookroom, we do many things such as giving all the books to every person in RYNJ. Our bookroom helpers help with with the variety of tasks ranging from delivering books organizing the room and even counting all of the books. The bookroom helpers have varied over the year. Some people will work for a week while others would help for years, all to make RYNJ a better place. The bookroom has been run by Rabbi Herbst for a long time with help from his students. Rabbi Herbst has always made sure that every student in RYNJ has every book he or she needs when he or she needs it.

We would like to thank the bookrooms helpers that have help for the past years. Some of these helpers have now created a new form using Google Drive which helps the bookroom greatly. We have made it much easier to file numbers of books we need. Our long term helpers are me (Meir Aschkenasy), Aharon Mermelstein, Akiva Leiber,and Eli Marcus, but others have helped for shorter amounts of time, and we are all thankful for being given this leadership role of helping others.
